You are invited to attend the special 50th anniversary of the Mumeishi 3s Taikai.

To celebrate, we’ll be running the competition over TWO days instead of one:
Saturday: 3-person Adult Teams (2 Dan grades and 1 Kyu) and Women’s Individual
Sunday: Junior competition with the following categories:
Non-bogu (all ages up to 17) – Kote, Men, Dou, decision by Hantei
Group 1 (ages 6-9) – Kiri Kaeshi & Keiko only (1 minute), decision by Hantei
Group 2 (ages 10-12) – 2 minute matches, no encho apart from final match
Group 3 (ages 13-14) – 2 minute matches, no encho apart from final match
Group 4 (age 15-17) – 2 minute matches, no encho apart from final match
Group 1 (ages 6-9) – Kiri Kaeshi & Keiko only (1 minute), decision by Hantei
Group 2 (ages 10-12) – 2 minute matches, no encho apart from final match
Group 3 (ages 13-14) – 2 minute matches, no encho apart from final match
Group 4 (age 15-17) – 2 minute matches, no encho apart from final match
We’ll be joined by Mumeishi OBs from all over the world to celebrate 50 years of Mumeishi 3s, as well many special guests including:
Sumi Masatake Sensei, Hanshi 8th Dan
Tashiro Junichi Sensei, Kyoshi 8th Dan

Tashiro Junichi Sensei, Kyoshi 8th Dan
This year, there will be places for 88 teams, 34 women, and unlimited Junior places.
Clubs can enter up to 3 teams, and 2 women, per club.
Fees are £40 per team, £15 per women’s individual fighter, and £5 per junior.
It’ll be at our usual venue of Cranford Community College, close to Heathrow Airport for any international guests, and a little bird tells me that after last year’s snack stall success, more substantial food may be on offer this year.
